Bookstores that I Hope to Visit Once in my Lifetime

I want to travel the world so I can visit these stunning bookstores…

The New York Times, BBC, The Guardian, and many other news anchors, have all made articles on which are the prettiest and most beautiful bookstores in the world. As a book lover, I have obviously read tons of these articles, scrolled through them, and become fascinated by the beautiful bookstores that planet Earth has to offer. Today we will be discussing which are my favorites and at the top of my wishlist…

Books I’ve Bought Recently but Haven’t Read Yet

Book shopping addictions and piles of unread books…

There are two types of people in this world: those who buy a book, immediately read it, love it, and then go out to buy another one, and repeat the process; and then, you have those who buy 2, 3, or 10 books at once and let them collect in piles around their house… unread. We may pick up a new book every other month but the other 8 books we have bought will keep collecting dust on those shelves ;). There is no in-between. What everyone has in common though, is that they all love going book shopping!

August is coming to an end which means that summer is slowly fading away too. I hope everyone has spent their summer nicely, relaxing and overall having fun. It’s my favorite time of the year (after winter, of course) and I am so excited to wear flannels and jackets again. Back to the post though…

Favorite Books to Media Adaptations

Your favorite book characters brought to life, fantastical worlds made reality and fascinating storylines to watch develop!

For anyone wondering “what is a media adaptation?” this is the process of taking content in one medium and reproducing it for another medium, for example the most common type of media adaptation is that of a book being made into a movie or show. I’m sure that many book lovers can relate to the feeling of excitement after discovering that your favorite book is going to be adapted into a movie or show; as well as the bittersweet moment where we wonder “what if the movie/show isn’t as good as the book?”

What Makes a Book my ‘Favorite’?

Is it the characters? The pace of the book? Or an original storyline? Keep reading to find out… 😉

There is one question that most of us, book lovers, dread to answer. Not because we don’t have an answer for it, we must certainly do, but mostly because it is so difficult to choose only one for an answer. “So what’s your favorite book?” AS IF I CAN CHOOSE ONLY ONE BOOK! I literally have a full-on google document with all of my favorite reads from all genres, book formats, star ratings, stand alone, duologies, trilogies, etc. If you ask me that question, be sure to be specific…
