Books I’ve Bought Recently but Haven’t Read Yet

Book shopping addictions and piles of unread books…

There are two types of people in this world: those who buy a book, immediately read it, love it, and then go out to buy another one, and repeat the process; and then, you have those who buy 2, 3, or 10 books at once and let them collect in piles around their house… unread. We may pick up a new book every other month but the other 8 books we have bought will keep collecting dust on those shelves ;). There is no in-between. What everyone has in common though, is that they all love going book shopping!

Favorite Books to Media Adaptations

Your favorite book characters brought to life, fantastical worlds made reality and fascinating storylines to watch develop!

For anyone wondering “what is a media adaptation?” this is the process of taking content in one medium and reproducing it for another medium, for example the most common type of media adaptation is that of a book being made into a movie or show. I’m sure that many book lovers can relate to the feeling of excitement after discovering that your favorite book is going to be adapted into a movie or show; as well as the bittersweet moment where we wonder “what if the movie/show isn’t as good as the book?”

Halfway through 2022 already? Unbelievable. July is starting (aka my birthday month) and that calls for a monthly wrap-up as we have made a tradition on this blog 😉 . Favorite Books I Read in 2021

This past year, I had the chance of reading many wonderful books: from high fantasy stories, to contemporary and mystery thrillers. A wide range of genres and writing styles. I was able to reach my goal of reading 80 books during 2021 and choosing 5! JUST 5 books for this post… has been a challenge 😉 .

Mystery Thriller, YA Fiction, High Fantasy & YA Contemporary

June is here, it’s finally midyear, 2021. That means… yeah, you guessed it. Monthly wrap up coming your way! I thought May would be the month where I would read the least because my classes started the 21st, but I actually read quite a lot before classes started. And even in classes I sneaked my books in and read when I could 😉 So today I bring you my Top 5 Reads of May…

It’s officially the fifth month of 2021, May just started and that means we are getting closer to mid-year. It also means we are all posting our monthly reading wrap ups; today I’m posting both March and April’s because I forgot to write it last month 🙂 so thank you all for your patience. The books I will talk about today are all part of my all-time favorite books shelf <3

Villains I’d Join to Conquer the World

My favorite book villains & villainess + my fair reasons for this 😉

I guess it is common knowledge that the part we, book lovers, enjoy the most from a Fantasy novel is the antagonist of the story. Those morally grey characters that usually have a fierceful and powerful idea to save the world and/or their people from danger but the execution of it usually involves death of millions or the destruction of the world as we know it so… yeah 😀 Not the means to get there my friends!

How Did I Read 100 Books in 2020

I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a book

If you’ve read the short paragraphs that I’ve written for my “Welcome” page in the blog, then you may recognise this one: I have been known for reading a lot of books in my spare time. I’m the kind of person you will see reading everywhere: at the breakfast table, through the morning, in between classes, before going to sleep, even when I go to the bathroom. I literally read anywhere and everywhere.
