My Favorite Book Covers
Stunning, Beautiful and Eye Catching Covers
Since I joined the bookstagram community (I’m loving that sweet reading corner in the Internet! ) I have been amazed by this beautiful books and interesting recommendations I have received. One of the things I have noticed the most are all of this pretty book covers all over the place. And you must know that anything pretty and shiny catches my eye ๐ .
The fundamental rule of all readers is to never judge a book by its cover, but sometimes we do spot a gorgeous book in someoneโs hands or displayed in a bookstore; or in my case, bookstagram and the cover automatically piques my curiosity. I have to give them a try!
So today I will share with you my favorite book covers, and I want to give a big shoutout to all of these astounding authors too! I’ve read most of these books and I adore the original stories and fictional worlds; meanwhile three of these books are still waiting for me on my TBR pile. I am more than anxious to get into them!
Let’s get started…
Top 6 Book Covers
1. A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Rosseane A. Brown
This cover is gorgeous! I love the contrast of greens and browns with the silver lettering. And I always love when characters are featured in the covers. I am in love with this one!
A Song of Wraiths and Ruin is right next on my readings; it looks amazing. “The first book in a fantasy duology inspired by West African folklore in which a grieving crown princess and a desperate refugee find themselves on a collision course to murder each other despite their growing attraction.” After reading the synopsis I was hooked. I am so excited to dive into it.
2. Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare
I am in love with Cassandra Clare’s books and her covers are always stunning! Personally, I think that Chain of Gold is one of the best books she has written. You can definitely see how much she has improved from the first ones she wrote, and the story is so engaging! “Chain of Gold is the first novel in a new trilogy that stars the Shadowhunters of Edwardian London.”
The unique characters, even those from The Infernal Devices, the life-or-death threats and the Shadowhunter world during this time period are spectacular! I love how Cordelia is represented in the cover because they captured her personality so well! (Plus we can peak Cortana too ๐ )

3. What I Carry by Jennifer Longo
This is such a glamorous cover! I was so captivated by the different colors and the blast of flowers we get. I’m a sucker for these ๐ . “A powerful and heartwarming look at a teen girl about to age out of the foster care system. Muir has lived in many houses and if she’s learned one thing, it is to pack light. Carry only what fits in a suitcase. Then she meets Francine. And Kira. And Sean. And everything changes.”
I need to begin this read as quick as possible, even though I know it will break my heart. Heart warming stories are a 10 of 10 for me.
4. The Boy Who Steals Houses by C.G. Drews
This book is one year old! It was published last April and it has the most heart warming story. “Sam is only fifteen but he and his autistic older brother, Avery, have been abandoned by every relative he’s ever known. Now Sam’s trying to build a new life for them. He survives by breaking into empty houses when their owners are away, until one day he’s caught out when a family returns home.”
First of all, a huge shoutout to C.G Drews, I love her book blog and she was one of the many who inspired me to create my own ๐ . Check out her blog here! Her books are the sweetest and break your heart so much, but we all love her for it. This cover is so cute. I love Sam’s silhouette and the original colors! Definitely check out this book, you won’t regret it.

5. Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas
Book five in the Throne of Glass series, “Empire of Storms follows the journey to the throne that has only just begun for Aelin Galathynius as war arrives. Loyalties have been broken and bought, friends have been lost and gained, and those who possess magic find themselves at odds with those who don’t.”
I love this series; it will always have a piece of my heart. This book is actually my favorite one of all 8. Plus this cover ๐ , it is extraordinary! No better representation of our main character and charming Aelin. You really have to check out this series, it is remarkable.
6. Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
I have no words. This cover is stunning! I love to see the main character in the cover and these stars and constellation details are *chef kiss* beautiful! It catched my eye since the first time I saw it and I need to read it so much. I love science fiction and I know this book is going to surpass my expectations.
“The year is 2380, and the graduating cadets of Aurora Academy are being assigned their first missions. Star pupil Tyler Jones is ready to recruit the squad of his dreams, but his own boneheaded heroism sees him stuck with the dregs nobody else in the Academy would touch.” It has been recommended to me so much and I can’t wait to begin!

I have to agree, the cover is BEAUTIFUL! ? And what’s even better is that there are little easter eggs hidden in the cover that you only notice once you’ve read the book!
